While inspecting inside the wheel wells of a "J" Model we found this..
As well as this... So, just how are we going to fix this little mess??
Taking the plane apart is a good start.
Looks kinda serious now dont you think?
Work in progress with the stub spar removed.
Old stub spar on right, new stub spar on left.
One of these things is not like the other....., Or can you see the corrosion?
New stub spar installed and fuselage mated to wing.
